What is USDS
USDS is the stablecoin of Sky, the protocol formerly known as MakerDAO, which rebranded in 2024. It is the upgraded version of DAI and converts 1:1 with it. Like DAI, it is backed by overcollateralized crypto and real-world assets such as US Treasuries, not by a bank deposit.
