Crypto sign-up bonuses, honestly
Every exchange dangles a sign-up or referral bonus. Most come with strings attached. Here's how they actually work, what to watch for, and the platforms we partner with — ranked by safety, not by the size of the offer.
Platforms we partner with
Full disclosure: these exchanges pay us a commission if you sign up through our link — at no extra cost to you. We list them by safety grade (A–F), not by who pays most. Check the review before you open an account.
Bonus terms change weekly and vary by country — always check the platform's current promo page. The safety grades here are ours; any bonus is the platform's own offer, not a number we invent.
How sign-up bonuses actually work
Most bonuses unlock only after you deposit a minimum or hit a trading-volume target. Until then, you can't withdraw them.
Bonuses are usually time-limited — a few days or weeks. Miss the window or the task, and the offer is gone.
Many 'bonuses' arrive as trading vouchers, fee rebates or locked funds — not free cash you can simply withdraw.
Amounts differ by region, and plenty of offers aren't available where you live. The headline number rarely applies to everyone.
Frequently asked
Sometimes — but treat the bonus as a small tiebreaker, not the reason to choose a platform. A bonus is worth nothing if the venue is unsafe or the rate is poor. Pick on safety and rate first; let the bonus break a tie.
Because they're promotional, time-limited and region-specific — any number we printed would be stale or wrong for most readers, and chasing them is exactly what we tell people not to do. We link you to each platform where you can see the current, accurate offer.
Affiliate links are marked, and our full policy is on the disclosure page. Commissions never change a platform's risk grade or its ranking — higher-paying venues don't get a better grade.
