Why this grade
- ✗
Regulation
The custodial wallet is operated by TG Wallet Inc. (Panama), built by The Open Platform — not by Telegram itself. No dedicated financial licence; in September 2024 the custodial Wallet was suspended for UK users pending FCA registration. Source →
- ✗
Proof-of-Reserves
No public proof-of-reserves for the custodial wallet. Custody mechanics are described, but reserves are not independently attested. Source →
- ✓
Flexible withdrawal
The 'Earn' products are flexible — funds can be withdrawn at any time. USDT deposit is free. Source 1 → Source 2 →
- ✗
Insurance Fund
No user-protection / insurance fund is disclosed (unlike Binance's SAFU or Bybit's fund). Source →
- ✗
Track record (2+ years incident-free)
The custodial Wallet has run since about 2023, reaching 100M+ Telegram users, with a HackerOne bug bounty — but it is young, offshore, and was suspended for UK users pending the FCA. Too short a record to pass. Source →

What would Telegram Wallet pay you?
How much will you earn?
Method: monthly compounding (1 + APR/12)ⁿ, where APR is the exchange's stated rate. The realized 12-month return is slightly higher due to reinvestment. Rates may change. Not financial advice.

Telegram Wallet review: what this platform is
Telegram Wallet is a wallet built into Telegram. Two products are easy to confuse: the custodial 'Wallet' (a third party holds the keys — graded here) and the self-custodial DeFi account (you hold the keys). The 'Earn' tab offers flexible earn on several coins.
How Earn works on Telegram Wallet
The Wallet has no public API, so the table above is a screenshot of the in-app "Earn" tab taken on 2 September 2026. Every tile carries a "bonus" ribbon, and we checked what that means: the site owner opened the same screen from a second Telegram account and the figures were identical. So it is not a personal loyalty or tenure bonus but the rate any user sees, and that is what we publish. One caveat stands: since the venue itself calls it a bonus, it may be temporary, and we make no promise that it persists. On USDT specifically: the "Dollars" tile shows 9%, but tapping through routes USDT into third-party DeFi protocols (Re7 Labs, Sentora, Morpho) — that is another protocol's yield in self-custody, not the Wallet's own rate, so it stays out of the table. Two further tiles from the screenshot are also excluded: ADI at 25% (no such asset in our catalogue). The "Dollars" tile is now identified: it is not USDT but Ethena's USDe, and the 9% applies only to the FIRST 100 USDe — anything above that earns 4.13%. So our table carries 4.13%: on a $1,000 deposit the blended rate is about 4.6%, on $10,000 it is essentially 4.13% flat. The mechanics: you deposit USDT, hold it on a separate account and receive USDe; USDT withdrawal is available at any time, there is no lock-up, minimum 10 USDT. The yield is generated by the Ethena protocol — it is not the Wallet's own obligation, and what you hold is synthetic USDe rather than the USDT you put in.
How to start on Telegram Wallet, step by step
- 01Open @wallet in Telegram and go to the 'Earn' tab.
- 02Remember: bonus-tagged rates are temporary — check the end date, and don't keep large amounts in custodial mode with no proof-of-reserves.
Should you park money here?
- +Maximum convenience: all inside Telegram, free transfers between users, free USDT deposit, low KYC threshold for small amounts.
- +A self-custodial option exists (the DeFi account) — there the keys are yours, not a third party's.
- −No public proof-of-reserves and no insurance fund; the custodial operator is offshore (Panama).
- −The USDT tile advertises 'up to 8.04%', but that is the rate of a third-party DeFi protocol, Re7 Labs, at medium risk — the genuinely low-risk options in the same screen pay 4.1–4.3%.
- −Young project; the custodial Wallet is suspended for UK users.
