What is TUSD
TrueUSD (TUSD) is a US-dollar stablecoin launched in 2018 and owned by Techteryx since 2020. In 2024 the US SEC settled with its former operators, TrueCoin and TrustToken, over claims that TUSD was fully backed while part of the reserves had been placed in a speculative offshore fund.
