What is AR
Arweave (AR) is a decentralized network for permanent data storage built on a pay-once-store-forever endowment model. It uses a blockweave structure and Succinct Proofs of Random Access consensus. The AR token pays for upload fees and rewards miners who replicate data over time. The network hosts web archives (including Wayback Machine snapshots), NFT metadata, and dApp frontends.
